Great Joy - Testimonies from Missouri

As the final testimony in our Testimonies from Missouri, Sandy and Jerry Z. share how they will "always treasure" their adventure to the Holy Land.

What an amazing journey! We are so grateful for our experiences in the land where Jesus lived and where the events of Scripture took place. We will always treasure this time when we gained tangible images of how things look and where things are. Some of our favorite experiences were: being on the boat in the middle of the Sea of Galilee, seeing the Garden of Gethsemane, looking at Jerusalem across the Kidron Valley from the Mount of Olives, exploring the old city, and visiting beautiful Caesarea.

Two events which impacted Sandy the most... being at the Western Wall and realizing that so many have missed finding the Savior who is right there and here with us, and praying with dear, long-time friends on the Mount of Beatitudes. Jerry’s favorites were sitting on the Teaching Steps, seeing the excavated walkway where Jesus might have overturned the tables of the money-changers, and walking on the trail from Nazareth to the Sea of Galilee. We will remember so many things and all of our pilgrimage companions with great joy!!

Leaders Make it Possible - Testimonies from Missouri

Lizz W. shares a portion of her experience in the Holy Land and how great tour hosts, guides and everyone in the background at EO make this a trip of a lifetime.

Looking back on things now, about a month later, I cannot believe that I was really there. I really enjoyed meeting the group from North Carolina and Florida! You know, I did this trip in honor of my mother, Sue and I think one of my favorite moments—if I REALLY have to pick one—was taking the boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. . .

Thank you John and Terri for this chance of a lifetime!

I read the Bible now and sometimes will come across a passage that mentions an area where we were and I think, “Oh yeah! I was there!”

Thank you to Mike, Eunnis and all the people at E.O., and all the others who made this possible for us to enjoy our pilgrimage to the Holy Land! . . . Looking forward to one day returning!!
